CTES PTA Goals 2011-2012
1. Plan, finance and oversee a playground enhancement to provide a safe and enriching outdoor area for students and teachers. Provide ongoing playground support over the course of the year when minor repairs or new equipment (balls, chalk, jump ropes, etc.) is needed.
2. Provide support and resources to CTES teachers, staff and administration to enhance both the classroom and overall school experience for the students.
3. Strengthen communication between CTES parents/caregivers, students and teachers, staff and administration in order to work as partners for excellence in education.
4. Welcome and encourage family involvement at CTES through engaging and exciting events and programs in an effort to build a strong, supportive CTES school community.
5. Provide enhanced and expanded resources to help provide a well-rounded education for the CTES students with a particular, but not exclusive, emphasis on cultural arts, reading, math and science.
6. Support expansion of learning opportunities and participation in PTA sponsored events and programs for all students.
